Project summary
Talison Lithium was expanding its Greenbushes processing plants to increase production capabilities. Part of the expansion involved the design and construction of an extensive new Water Treatment Plant (WTP) to remove lithium from the water reservoirs. JMD scope included complete engineering and design of bulk earthworks, civil design and drainage, access roads, concrete slab, bund & footings as well as steel structures, cladding and infrastructure for the Water Treatment plan
Project Achievements
JMD completed the bulk earthworks, civil and concrete design and finalised the engineering design and details for the structural steel, mechanical and piping package to accommodate the Veolia water treatment plant. We provided full mechanical, civil and structural engineering design and drafting for the scope and we worked closely with the client and OEM vendor to maintain project schedule. JMD provided project management support including preparation of scope packages and tender evaluation for the fabrication and construction scopes and provided construction site inspection to ensure quality management on behalf of Talison.
