CLIENT: PACER / OM Manganese

PROJECT SUMMARY

Project Location: Northern Territory Date Completed:

OM Manganese, based in the Northern Territory, established that they has recoverable Manganese in their coarse rejects stockpile. They determined to recover this via a secondary processing circuit which required a 150TPH cyclone Dense Media Separation plant. JMD was engaged by Pacer Engineering to engineer, design and draft the complete DMS plant at the Bootu Creek Mine. This included the complete civil, structural, mechanical and piping considerations.

PROJECT ACHIEVEMENTS

Working in conjunction with Tony Mason of Mineral Processors WA, JMD designed the 150TPH DMS module in a modular fashion for transport and assembly purposes. JMD has the full design package for this plant. JMD’s General Manager, Tobin Powell was the lead construction engineer for this project. JMD’s co-director, Craig Hindle, completed the design, supply and install of the Electrical requirements of this plant under the guise of his former company, Hindle Electrics.
