PROJECT SUMMARY
Project Location: Iluka, North Capel
Iluka required a new Carbon Product Storage Facility which consisted of bulk earthworks, new and realigned roads, storage shed, truck loading bay and concrete retaining. JMD Engineering were engaged by Iluka to complete the engineering and design for civil works associated with this Facility and liaise with the preferred shed supplier to ensure a seamless construction effort.
PROJECT ACHIEVEMENTS
JMD Engineering were involved from feasibility studies through to detailed design comprising: Conceptual modelling and layout to determine optimum location for storage facility to reduce construction costs and maintain accessibility for operations. Site laser scanning, feature surveys, and geotechnical investigation to accurately capture existing infrastructure. Detailed engineering design and drafting of the associated civil works and engineering supervision during construction
We worked in close collaboration with the client to ensure the new facility was suitable for their operational requirements and in accordance with applicable site and regulatory standards. The new facility has been successfully meeting all client expectations.
