Project Location – Agnew Gold Mine Date Completed – 2015
JMD Engineering were engaged by Gold Fields Agnew to undertake water and tailing pump and piping calculations for the Agnew/ Lawlers system, and to identify preferred options and provide evaluations and capital cost estimates. Also included in the scope were drawings for pipeline creek and road crossing and a tank roof arrangement, each suitable for budget estimation. JMD Engineering modelled a number of pipe flows both existing and hypothetical based around the existing system and established the best options for the client moving forward.
PROJECT ACHIEVEMENTS
JMD presented the client with model outputs and spreadsheet summaries of network flows, pressure, line sizes and power consumption. Songvang tails line layout and crossing arrangements. Lawlers Borefields tank roof arrangements. Capitol cost estimates and supporting vendor budget pricing and engineering report and recommendations.
