Iron Ore
JMD have carried out multiple projects for the Iron Ore industry over an extended period of time for companies such as BHP, RCR Mining, Sabre Industrial, Monodelphous, G&S Engineering and others. These projects have included major chutework including ROM bins and feed hoppers, feeders and conveyors, head chutes and structural steel.

JMD have a breadth of knowledge and expertise within the materials handling and minerals processing of non ferrous metals, developed through many years of combined engineering and design experience. JMD have assisted and continue to assist many clients in the Non Ferrous Metals sector including continued ongoing plant improvements for South32 Worsley Alumina, Alcoa, Global Advanced Metals, OM Manganese and Talison to name a few.
SPECIALISED DENSE MEDIA KNOWLEDGE
Dense Media Separation
JMD have extensive knowledge of the Dense Media Separation process for various products, including Diamonds, Manganese and Nickel. As a specialised knowledge, JMD have experienced personnel to maximise any clients DMS requirements having completed multiple dense media projects for sites including OM Manganese and Kimberley Diamonds.
Oil & Gas
JMD have completed several projects involving LPG, medical gases and other pressurised piping systems for clients such as UGL Limited and BOC Gases. Projects include engineering and design of a natural gas circuit for Alcoa Pinjarra Refinery. Key staff members also have experience in offshore rigs and platforms.

With the JMD Bunbury branch within close proximity of major mineral sands producers, JMD have completed multiple projects within the mineral sands sector for companies such as Iluka Resources and Doral Resources. Projects include large track mounted mobile mining units, processing plant design, chemical transfer, product handling facilities and feasibility studies and to name a few

Originating in the Port City of Bunbury, JMD is a leading supplier of design solutions to various Port facilities. From drainage issues to ship loader projects, JMD have assisted in Port infrastructure upgrades for Southern Ports since 2008 from Bunbury to Esperance

Since then JMD have expanded from fabrication drawings to providing full design and construct services, assisted by experienced project management personnel.
